Vasectomy is an excellent choice of permanent birth control. Once this difficult decision is made, Surgical Arts will ask that you watch an instructional video and sign an operative permit. The procedure is performed in our office under local anesthesia. Normal activities can be resumed the next day. We ask that you submit a specimen two weeks after the procedure to confirm that your sperm count is zero.
