Unsightly varicose veins and spider veins can be treated in our office. Hypertonic saline (salt water) is injected through a very small needle into the veins and creates scar tissue within the vein. Over the next several days, there may be some bruising and swelling, but as this resolves, the varicose veins and spider veins will disappear. Repeat treatments may be necessary to achieve the desired effect. Results will vary according to the size and amount of varicose veins.
