Brad R. Moody, M.D.
Raised on a small family farm by his parents, Dr. Moody is a native of Cullman County. He attended Cullman High School graduating in 1996 among the top of his class. He received a scholarship to Huntingdon College graduating summa cum laude with a double major in Chemistry and Biology. He sought medical training at the University Of South Alabama School Of Medicine obtaining his M.D. degree in 2005. He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
Following his love for surgery, Dr. Moody completed his surgical Internship and Residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center serving as Chief Surgical Resident. He is eligible for the American Board of Surgery, a member of the American College of Surgeons, and Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons. He is certified in the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery, Advanced Cardiac Life Support as well as Advanced Trauma Life Support.
Dr. Moody’s professional interests include general open and laparoscopic procedures; surgical oncology especially colorectal, melanoma, and breast diseases; endoscopic procedures; and vascular and thoracic surgery.
Dr. Moody and his wife, Heather, have a daughter, Madison. He is an avid outdoorsman with special interest in fly-fishing, deer hunting, and working on the family farm.
